Take part in RTE TV programmes

RTÉ Young Peoples’ Programmes aims to give a voice to young people across the country. Through out the year we have opportunities for young people of all ages to get involved in TV productions. Currently Young Peoples’ Programmes are seeking participants for: a free filming making workshop; a ‘No Experience Required Transition Year’ summer special; a new live action series ‘Aisling’s Diary’, a gonzo journalist series ‘. . . On Trial’, the second ‘JAM – The Musical’ series; a game show ‘Quizone’, and a word quiz ‘Watch Your Language’.

Eye 2 Eye is back for a fourth season! And is looking for audience members. This time the series gives a lucky few the chance to get up close and personal with stars from the worlds of sport, literature, film, TV, comedy, magic and music, to ask their burning questions, get some career advice and even dig for dirt! JAM - The Musical is back for another series and if you'd like to take part in master classes with professional musical stars, then get in touch by late summer. The applicant age profile is 11 to 15 years of age. For more information go to www.rte.ie/tv/theden/jam//index_musical.html

The very popular game show Quizone is looking for teams of five members to participate in coming series. Applicants should be aged between 8 and 11 and the closing date is late August. For details go to www.rte.ie/tv/theden/quizone/

Fancy teaming up with your mates for a gameshow about words? Watch Your Language is a word play quiz packed with brain teasing rounds, all with a language-based twist. Applicants should be aged between 8 and 12 years. The closing date is Monday June 30th. To apply email theden@rte.ie.
